Suessen compacting system
Specially designed pipes and an appropriate suction ensure the production of a perfectly condensed / compact yarn.
Double drive system
The double drive system is the solution that doubles the versatility of the spinning frame. Independent operation on both sides of the machine allows for seamless adaptation to small batches and frequent material changes.

Single drive and double drive spinning frame
The IDEA spinning frame series is available with 3- or 4-cylinder draft control, a 75mm or 82.5 spindle ratch, and either a single drive or double drive system.
The IDEA single drive spinning frame offers the perfect balance between production performance and yarn quality.
On the other hand, the IDEA double drive spinning frame allows for the processing of yarns that differ in type, colour, and count on the two completely independent sides of the machine.
The range of processable counts spans from to 10Nm to 140Nm. 140.
E-drive
When it comes to spindle control, Cognetex has always equipped its spinning frames with a single high-efficiency variable-speed main motor, delivering maximum energy savings. While this technical solution remains highly effective, Cognetex now offers its clients a new opportunity: adjusting drafting ratios and twist settings through an electronic drive control system (E-drive). This innovation is the foundation of the new IDEA-E spinning frame, in which feeding, intermediate, and draft cylinders are powered by 4 motors and 2 inverters.
IDEA-E allows users to adjust feeding and drafting speed ratios, as well as twist settings, directly from the new touchscreen operator interface.
Yarn types
IDEA enables the processing of fibres to produce either standard or compact yarn. Suessen technology is used to condense the fibres through a vacuum suction system, resulting in an exceptionally consistent yarn.
Standard spinning
This is what a standard yarn looks like under 80X magnification.
It allows for the production of textile materials with distinctive tactile features, that are ideal for both knitwear and weaving.
Compact spinning
When applied to our spinning frames, the Suessen compacting system – named after the manufacturer of this technology – produces a condensed yarn. This characteristic makes the yarn perfect for weaving.
